My two front teeth?

Today was a pretty good day. It started out rather early because I had to write a paper, but after that it got better. My second class is in the Costume Workshop where I work in the afternoons, and today my teacher/boss told me I could have the afternoon off because I'd been doing a really awesome job and was ahead of schedule (on top of the fact that I've been working on crew for the curent play The Crucible) so it was pretty nice to have a few hours to relax for once. When I got back to the apartment I found that my broken washing machine had finally been replaced with a brand new one after two MONTHS xD so yea that was definitely exciting! Tomorrow ought to be fun as well, I'll be going to Anime Arkansas for the afternoon before the evening show of the play, and I'll be spending it with friends (here's a mega shocker folks, I won't be in costume! If you go, see if you can recognize me xD)

I can't wait for Thanksgiving next week! I'm so excited to have a solid break from school

Anyway, on to the main purpose of this journal! I noticed a couple of my other friends doing this, and I think it's neat so I'm gonna join in!


THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA for the sake of privacy.

** Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf this forum ( [link] ) and browse the lists. Here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1.) My roommate has a sleeping disorder which has made him oversleep a LOT lately, and it might be resolved by having his tonsils removed (sounds random I know). He'll undergo surgery over christmas break, so I hope it goes well and solves the problem he's been having.

2.) A white christmas would be really awesome, I haven't had one of those in a long time!

3.) New toesox! Mine have holes in them and I only own two pairs so far (toesox are freaking awesome)

4.) Plenty of time with all of my friends over the holiday break

5.) A trip to Kansas City to see my birthfather for a day or two

6.) Money's always good xD (I'm still selling Goyo Guardian's btw, lol)

7.) How bout some awesome fanart? I always dig seeing what my friends come up with, so make something awesome for christmas!

8.) An extra special hug and kiss from sometime on Christmas day

9.) This one would be late, but the best Ikkicon experience possible (I have a feeling that one will come true too )
