This is a cleaned up version of an ink-based fanart of Vash the Stampede as depicted in the Manga Trigun Maximum. I actually had the idea for the bullet-filled trenchcoat from an image of a diecast Vash figure I saw on the internet. However, that model was of the TV show's trenchcoat, so I decided to make it my own by converting it to the coat from the manga. I used Millenium pen ink for most of this piece, although in some areas with lots of black I resorted to a Sharpie.
I plan to put up a colored version of this piece soon. |
