No sarcasm today folks, I'm in a pretty bright mood right now. Wanna know why?
I GET TO MAKE COSTUMES FOR A GRADE XD

Ok, I'll backtrack a bit. Coming into this semester I was pretty stressed out about the probability of a LOT of work. I have to make a comprehensive Senior project and put together a portfolio for job opportunities, and I had very little progress towards either, so I was pretty panicky. But last night was the first session for my Senior project class, and the teacher really gave me something to grin about. For whatever reason, I hadn't given much consideration to using my cosplay hobby to my advantage for school work, especially considering that all of the costumes made up to this point are copy righted characters. My professor strongly emphasized that we should make a project based on what interests us the most; his logic is that by being creative and incorporating what we love into our projects, we truly bring out our full potential(plus it makes it a whole lot easier than doing something we aren't really all that interested in).

So I asked him later what he thought about doing illustrations of my original characters and then making costumes for them...and he actually liked the idea. He said that it was something very different from anything he'd seen in senior projects up to this point at JBU, and he thinks it has a lot of potential. To make things even better, he said I could incorporate some of my existing costumes as well, so long as I have illlustrations to go with them. This new information has really hyped me up about doing the project now, and I already know which character's I'll be using as the focus of the assignment:



Say hello to my Senior Project. I'll be doing some more interactive illustrations with these two characters, and I'll also bring them to life by making costumes for them. I think I'm going to edit the designs a bit and make it the King and Queen of Hearts rather than the Ace and Queen (kinda makes more sense right?). I'll be wearing the King of Hearts costume for the presentation of my Senior Project (whether they like it or not ) and I'll also get some photography of the King and Queen, as well as update all of my other costumes with some fresh photos, so that I can get more of a common theme going with all of them. Expect lots of fun deviations from me later on this semester people

I found out recently that Youtube has a cap on the number of favorites allowed in your fav list (it's 650). How do I know this? Well...I hit it xD
I guess I've always been easily amused with what I find on Youtube, but now I'm going to have to go back and delete stuff if I ever want to fav anything else (either that or create a new account, lol)
