Ikkicon was pretty amazing. We left Thursday night and drove the entire night to get to Ikkicon early Friday morning. Friday afternoon was Digimon cosplay for *Malindachan ~Kikala *Naoko-san ~ryo-wolffe ~pockyfairy and I took pictures on the sidelines as Tristan. Malinda, Kikala, Pockyfairy, my friend Marikit, and I all went to lunch downtown, which was a pretty crazy experience as well. We passed by a building that had caught on fire and just been put out by the fire department (intense). Later that evening we got some Nightmare before Christmas action. Saturday Morning early saw Sora Triplets: Malinda, Kikala, and Naoko had some fun and I took pictures again. Around lunchtime we got into Nightmare before Christmas again, this time with Lock, Shock, and Barrel! We had quite a hard time moving anywhere with the crowds bombarding us for photos. At one point a woman from Germany walked up to me and asked for a picture (I don't think she was a part of the con xD). After all of that Malinda and I did Yugioh 5D for the rest of the evening. We entered them into the Cosplay contest and won a best craftsmanship award . Sunday was the long drive home.

The weekend was non-stop fun times. I got to see a lot of friends that I don't get to see outside of conventions, and nothing made me happier than to make Malinda's 21st birthday an extra special one ^___^
I only wish we could have stayed for Sunday as well. But maybe next year ;]

How many of you out there have a special someone you wanna spend this weekend with? I do, and I wouldn't want to spend it with anyone else

I mentioned in one of my recent journals that I was going to be making costumes for a senior comprehensive project this semester. I still am, and this next week I'll be drawing up my schedule for the rest of this semester. So, to ensure that I keep myself on schedule I'm planning on making weekly updates here on deviantart to log my progress and simultaneously show everyone who's curious what I'm working on. Starting this next week, I'm going to make a weekly update every Monday. Wish me luck with it all, I look forward to putting this all together
